Full wedding day footage is NOT included in the base package! However, you can request an Archival Edit. An Archival Edit is a single video that contains all the footage from your wedding in chronological order. The reason we charge extra for this is because it takes a lot of time to process and edit all the footage into its own video.

Short answer: no. We pick out the music with the input/help of the couple. We want to maintain creative freedom. Most of our films contain at least two songs, so it’s not only about finding one song that works, it’s about designing tracks together to create a soundtrack that compliments the story.

Also, due to copyrights, we cannot pick out any song we would like. We source most of our music from websites such as Musicbed, which offer high quality music in a range of genres. Once we are in the planning process for a wedding film, we go ahead and ask the couple what type of music they would like in their wedding film. From there, we narrow down our search and typically send the couple a few options to choose from, and then we choose any additional songs bases on the couple’s choices and the flow of the edit.

Our starting package includes a film with a minimum length of 5 minutes. You can also add on a 7 minute option if you would like, which takes the minimum length up to 7 minutes. So essentially, the the film will be AT LEAST the length you see in our packages/proposals. We don’t put a cap on how long the film will be, because we want to maintain creative freedom while editing! We’ve often had 5 minute films end up 7 minutes long, or 7 minute long films end up 9 minutes long. It depends on how the editing process goes, as well as the story we are working with.

6-8 weeks, depending on the time of year. If you’re getting married in a slow season, it will probably be shorter. We always want to prioritize the quality of the film over turnaround time, which is why our turnaround time has gone up some over time.

Yes! We find it very inspiring to go to new places to film weddings. We do charge some for travel in order to cover the expenses, but we do our best to make it easy for out-of-town couples to book with us.
