I believe in stories.
Stories are the most universal form of remembering moments and events. Stories relate to, inspire, influence, and connect people in a deep, emotional, and personal way. This is why cinematography has always captivated me.
It started around 2012…
I’ve been creating videos ever since I saved up enough lawn-mowing cash to buy my first action camera back in 2012. I loved, (and still love) kayaking, and wanted to be able to truly capture the action I experienced whenever I would go out. Video was the only artistic medium that I felt could truly capture the raw dynamic of the waves being tossed up by the wind, and then broken by the bow of my little kayak as I would paddle through them.

Time has only further shown me how powerful this medium is for capturing and retelling emotions in a raw, beautiful, real way.
And here we are.
Fast forward a decade and a piece, and I now have the honor of sharing my storytelling skills with others, by capturing their weddings. I hope one day, decades from now, each of my clients will look back on their films and smile, remembering perfectly the emotions that they experienced so powerfully at the beginning of their marriage.
